The SRB Cytotoxicity Assay Kit provides a sensitive, reproducible, and easy-to-use method for measuring cell toxicity, viability, and proliferation. Based on the binding of the dye Sulforhodamine B (SRB) to cellular proteins, the assay delivers highly consistent colorimetric results.

The extracted dye, proportional to cell mass and protein content, is quantified at OD 540 nm with reference at 690 nm, providing excellent linearity, high signal-to-noise ratio, and stable end-point measurement. This makes the SRB Cytotoxicity Assay Kit a reliable alternative for both routine cytotoxicity testing and high-throughput screening.
