Corresponding to the 145-aa core region of human fibroblast growth factor 2, this form actively supports the expansion and maintenance of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), embryonic stem cells (ESCs), mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), and a broad range of proliferation and differentiation models.
