Real-time PCR kit for rapid and specific detection of Legionella species.
The PRImeDETECT™ Legionella spp Detection Kit is a ready-to-use real-time PCR assay for fast and specific detection of Legionella species in environmental and biological samples. It includes an optimized PCR MasterMix with buffer, dNTPs, Hot-start DNA polymerase, MgCl2, DNA-free water, and an Internal Amplification Control (IAC) to confirm the absence of PCR inhibition.
Fluorescent probes ensure accurate target detection: FAM for Legionella spp and JOE for IAC. The kit also provides positive and negative controls for result validation and a DNAready Lysis Buffer for sample preparation prior to PCR amplification.

- Shipment: -20 ºC using gel packs.
- Storage: -20 °C upon receipt. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. If stored correctly the kit will retain full activity for 12 months. The kit can be stored at 4°C for 1 month.
