Q1: What targets are detected by this duplex assay?
It simultaneously detects Legionella spp. (genus level) and L. pneumophila (species level).

Q2: Is the kit compatible with all qPCR instruments?
Yes, it is validated with standard duplex-capable qPCR systems such as Applied Biosystems®, Bio-Rad®, and Qiagen®.

Q3: Does the kit distinguish between viable and non-viable bacteria?
No. The assay detects DNA from both living and dead cells.
