AgaPure™ Agarose LM (Low Melting)

Low melting point agarose for safe DNA/RNA recovery, direct enzymatic manipulation, and high-resolution electrophoresis.

The AgaPure™ Agarose LM (Low Melting) is a high-quality molecular biology grade agarose chemically modified with hydroxyethyl groups, lowering its gelling temperature to 30 ºC and melting point to 65 ºC. This allows nucleic acids to remain intact during recovery, enabling direct enzymatic manipulations in gel without DNA or RNA extraction.

With low EEO (≤0.1), AgaPure™ Agarose LM ensures sharp banding, high resolution, and efficient digestion during gel purification workflows. Its high purity, free from DNases, RNases, inhibitors, and DNA binders, guarantees reproducible performance in molecular biology applications.
