Inorganic Pyrophosphatase

High-Quality (GMP grade) Inorganic Pyrophosphatase for In Vitro Transcription Reactions.

Inorganic Pyrophosphatase catalyzes the hydrolysis of inorganic pyrophosphate into orthophosphate, driving biosynthetic reactions forward. It is commonly used to enhance yields in transcription and enzymatic assays.

The enzyme offers high stability and consistent activity, ensuring reliable reaction performance in molecular biology applications.

Our -GMP grade- IPP enzyme can be applied across diverse fields such as the production of therapeutic mRNA and DNA, diagnostics and any kind of nucleotide incorporation reactions, among others.

Detailed information:

Advantages & Features
  • Optimizes in vitro transcription (IVT): Efficiently removes inorganic pyrophosphate (PPi), a byproduct that inhibits RNA polymerase activity, significantly enhancing RNA yield.
  • High purity: ≥ 95% purity confirmed by SDS-PAGE; free from detectable endonuclease, exonuclease, RNase, and alkaline phosphatase activity amongs others host cell proteins and DNA.
  • Safety: Low endotoxin (≤ 0.5 EU/U) suitable for sensitive RNA workflows. Animal-origin-free, β-lactam-free manufacturing
  • Recombinant origin in E. coli: Produced without animal-derived materials or β-lactam antibiotics, minimizing regulatory and biosafety concerns.
  • Versatile applications: Suitable for therapeutic mRNA synthesis, DNA production, molecular diagnostics, and any nucleotide-incorporation reaction.
  • Ready-to-use 0.1 U/µL stock: matches common IVT protocols
  • Produced under ISO13485 & cGMP principles

FAQs
  1. How does “GMP-grade” differ from ISO 13485 or “GMP-like” for ancillary reagents?
ISO 13485 is a voluntary QMS standard for medical-device and reagent manufacturers, while GMP is a regulatory requirement for finished drugs. The manufacturing of enzymes used solely as ancillary reagents are not directly audited by FDA or EMA. They must, however, meet robust quality-management and traceability requirements. Canvax follows ISO 13485 plus the risk-based framework of ICH guidelines, providing GMP-grade consistency even though the label is Research Use Only.
  2. Which certificates are supplied with every lot?
    • Certificate of Analysis (activity, purity, nuclease tests, endotoxin)
    • Certificate of Origin & Animal-Free statement
  3. Does IPP work with T7 and/or SP6 polymerases?
Yes. It hydrolyses PPi in any DNA-dependent RNA-polymerase reaction. Recommended dose will be in the range of 0.005–0.01 U per µL of final IVT mix.
  4. What is the shelf life and storage?
24 months at −20 °C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles; aliquot if you open the vial frequently.
  5. What’s the endotoxin specification?
≤ 0.5 EU per unit, tighter than the spec disclosed for most competing PPases.
